Nomadic Honeys from Sicily and Calabria

Situated at the foot of the volcano Etna, in Sicily, Zafferana Etnea is the home of honey. The story of the Terre di Miele company began here in 1979. The company sprang from the passion and sacrifices made by Dad Alfio and Mum Nelly, who decided in 1979 to acquire their first hives and start a semi-professional business. Their dream was to build up a professional company working with enormous passion and dedication; and over the years they passed on their abiding passion to their sons Giuseppe and Salvatore, who had been very enthusiastic about their parents’ profession since childhood. The year 2006 marked the big qualitative leap: the warehouse was enlarged, new hives were acquired, as well as automatic and semi-automatic equipment to improve the quality and work; however, the same procedures adopted in the past were kept and as always, the quality, genuineness and goodness of the product was their top priority.
We produce honey from two areas: Sicily and Calabria, two sun-kissed Mediterranean regions blessed with an extraordinary nature.
And so Terre di Miele was born.
